Born and built in the heart of Panauti, Panauti Bike Station was started by two young professional trekking guides who swapped hiking boots for handlebars. We wanted to offer visitors a new way to explore our hometown one that’s full of freedom, fun, and fresh air.

We provide a full-service cycling experience: high-quality bike rentals, curated guided tours, and custom-designed routes for solo travelers, friend groups, and tour operators. With every pedal stroke, you’ll uncover a slice of Nepali life that few get to see.

Our dream? To transform Panauti into a cycle-friendly town reducing vehicle traffic, encouraging green tourism, and promoting health and sustainability for locals and visitors alike.

Before You Ride:

Everything you need to know to have a safe, smooth, and fun journey.

Bikes:

We use Trek Marlin 7 mountain bikes lightweight, reliable, and trail-ready. The RockShox suspension fork and wide gear range make them ideal for both new and experienced riders.

Repairs & Gear:

Your guide will carry basic tools and spare parts. While we try to be prepared, we recommend all riders carry a spare tube, pump, and personal gear just in case.

Safety First:

● Helmets are mandatory on all our tours no exceptions.

● Your guide is trained in first aid and emergency response.

● Please make sure your travel insurance covers mountain biking.

Our Guides:

All tours are led by friendly, local, English-speaking guides.

For groups of 9 or more, we provide an extra guide.

Our guides are:

● Trained in bike repairs and first aid

● Knowledgeable about local culture, history, and nature
