Heritage Trail

For those who want a deeper taste of heritage and challenge, the Heritage Trail is a full-day

experience woven with spirituality, history, and stunning climbs.

We begin in Panauti, where the stone temples, quiet courtyards, and local morning bustle set a

peaceful tone. As we ride toward Sankhuphedi, you’ll pass golden paddy fields and forests humming

with birds a landscape that feels both timeless and alive.

The road soon climbs toward Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist site nestled among pine trees and

prayer flags. Here, we pause to visit the historic stupa and Tharpu Monastery, where the legend of

Prince Mahasattva comes to life. The energy here is calm, strong, and unforgettable.

From Namobuddha, we glide downhill through Phulbari village, where the smiles are warm and the

mountain views are wide. Our final stretch takes us on a gentle uphill to Dhulikhel the district's

cultural capital and a perfect lunch spot with views of the Himalayan range.

We then ride downhill back to Panauti, taking in the last light across terraced hills and red-brick

rooftops.
